Get your shipments processed faster at customs

To ensure the timely and effective delivery of your non-document shipments, please make sure that you complete a commercial invoice and attach it to your shipment. Having complete documentation with your shipment will ensure that international non-document shipments are not subjected to delay at customs. (Click to download commercial invoice)

When completing your commercial invoice, we recommend that you abide by these instructions and include the following details:

o The correct invoice value, specifying the currency and country of origin
o Invoice must be printed on the supplier’s letterhead and not as Pro-forma invoice
o Invoice number
o Invoice must be typed and not hand written
o The item's Harmonized Code
o Clear Goods Description
o Receiver’s full name and address

Please write clear words when describing the content of your shipment. This will enable custom authorities around the World to process your shipment faster, and will prevent unnecessary delays. The following is a list of generic, terms that are too vague and suggested alternatives that would be considered “clear” descriptions. This list is by no means exhaustive, but is a good indicator of how a good shipment content description would look like.
