Our Health, Safety and Security systems, software, policies and procedures undergo continuous monitoring and updates, integrated with hazard identification and risk assessment protocols, to ensure HSS components are adaptive, risk-mitigating and aligned with ESGrelated international standards, framework and best practices.

In 2024, unfortunately, we reported two separate accidents that resulted in a total of three fatalities. The first accident was a motorbike accident for one of our ground champions ‘Express Operations’ in Egypt. The second accident was a truck accident that resulted in two fatalities and one serious injury ‘Logistics Operations’ in Egypt also. Both accidents were investigated, corrective and preventative measures were taken to reduce similar incidents in future while the local safety team continues to enhance our controls and improvement initiatives.

Aramex’s first-time supplier assessment highlights promising strides in sustainability across its supply chain, with many suppliers adopting moderate to extensive sustainable sourcing practices. A growing commitment to environmental responsibility is evident, with several companies implementing comprehensive measures to reduce their footprint. While opportunities exist to strengthen governance and reporting, a notable number of suppliers are considering sustainability certifications and enhancing their ESG disclosures. Continuous improvement remains a key focus, with many suppliers actively advancing their sustainability strategies.
