When a business charges and collects GST on sales, must the GST be explicitly mentioned in the shopping cart (in a breakdown of the total)?

Businesses may choose to disclose either a GST-exclusive price or a GST-inclusive price. It is however recommended that that businesses clearly disclose whether or not New Zealand GST is applicable on the sale of goods.
