Aramex Hosts Scholarship Students in Uganda

Aramex hosted 7 university and vocational training students at our offices in Kampala ganda. The students took a tour of the office and met with Aramex employees to learn more about different teams and their roles.

Through a partnership with two prominent nonprofit organizations in Uganda; Nnabagereka Development Foundation (NDF) and Restless Development, Aramex grants education scholarships to academically distinguished students. In return, the students commit to four hours of community service on a weekly basis. The community service is done through Aramex sustainability projects and initiatives and in partnership with local nonprofit organizations. The students are also required to maintain high academic achievement and to engage in extra-curricular activities; such as sports and youth clubs. Aramex also offers the students mentorship, training and internship opportunities.
