Who can pick up my passport and what documents do they need to bring?

The below documents are required in all countries the service is available in unless stated otherwise

Collecting your own passport
To collect your own passport, you must present a valid government-issued photo ID (a copy is not accepted)


Parents collecting the passport(s) of their minor children 
Parents collecting passport(s) of their minor children, under 18 years old, must present all the required documents as per the below:  

• Parent's government-issued photo ID (a copy is not accepted)
• A copy of the family card/book or birth certificate of passport holder (or original QID for Qatar)

If the mother is collecting the passport in Lebanon, Qatar, Morocco, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain the following additional documents are required:

• Original authorization letter signed by the passport holder’s father
• A copy of the government issued photo ID belonging to the father of the passport holder

Representatives collecting someone else's passport(s) 
Representatives collecting an adult's passport(s), 18 years and older, must present all the below documents:

• The representative's valid government-issued photo ID (a copy is not accepted)
• A copy of the passport holder's valid government-issued photo ID
• The original authorization letter signed by the passport holder, authorizing the representative to collect the passport. The letter must contain the following information: 
• The name of the representative that is collecting the passport as per the valid government-issued ID
• The name and passport number of the applicant

Representatives collecting a minor's passport(s)
Representatives collecting a minor's passport(s), under 18 years old, must present all the below documents:

• The representative’s valid government-issued photo ID (a copy is not accepted) 
• The original authorization letter signed by the passport holder’s parents, authorizing the representative to collect the passport*
• A copy of the government issued photo ID belonging to the parent of the passport holder who signed the authorization letter (a copy is accepted)*
• A copy of the family card/book or birth certificate of passport holder or (Original QID for Qatar)

*In Lebanon, Morocco, Kuwait and Bahrain only the father's signature is accepted

Note: Without all required documents, you will not be able to collect your passport.
