Aramex Instagram Competition – World Photography Day Official Rules:

  1. To qualify to enter the competition you must be: (a) 21 years of age or older; and (b) ensure your Instagram page is pubic during the competition.
  2. By entering this competition, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of Aramex, which will be final.
  3. To enter the competition, you must:
    1. Follow us at @aramex on Instagram, and like the post;
    2. Share your most create photograph featuring Aramex on your Instagram page and tag us @aramex and use the hashtag #AramexPhotography;
    3. Comment once done and tag 3 friends to take part; and
    4. Ensure your Instagram page is pubic during the competition.
  4. There is no restriction on the number of photos which may be submitted, and such photos may be taken through various devices such cameras, phones, drones, etc.
  5. The participant with the most creative photo will be selected as the winner on August 31, 2021 (“Selection Day”) and receive a GoPro HERO9 camera (the “Prize”). Winner will be notified via Instagram Direct Messenger and announced on Aramex’s Instagram Stories.
  6. Aramex reserves the right to change the Selection Date with no warning to participants and with no liability to participants.
  7. Any use of an electronic device to enhance or alter participant’s odds of winning will be considered a fraudulent entry, and will be declared as invalid.
  8. To claim the Prize, winner must: (1) respond as directed within seventy-two (72) hours of the first notification attempt; and (2) ensure their Instagram page is public during the competition, including the Selection Day. If winner cannot be reached or fails to timely respond or comply with the requirements or if Aramex determines winner is not eligible or are disqualified, then Aramex will select an alternative winner through the remaining eligible entries.
  9. The winner will be required to comply with any formalities required by Aramex, which may include but is not limited to signing a prize acknowledgment form and providing Aramex a copy of such form. The Prize will only be released upon Aramex’s receipt of a copy of the form, together with a scanned copy of supporting documentation, as requested by Aramex.
  10. Prizes are non-transferable.
  11. By accepting the Prize, winner grant Aramex permission to use the name, photo, statements and experiences of winner related to the competition for advertising/marketing purposes without further compensation or permission, unless prohibited by law.
  12. Participants consent to their data being stored, transferred and processed (either in the UAE or overseas) by Aramex and consent to their authorized third parties to contact participant if participant wins a Prize and to organize its delivery and any other uses of the information.
  13. Aramex can change these terms and conditions or cancel the competition and/or Prize at its discretion and without incurring liability as a result.
  14. All federal and local laws and regulations apply and the competition is void where prohibited by law.
  15. Employees of Aramex or any of its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, and persons connected with the competition and their immediate families are not eligible to enter the competition.
  16. Aramex will not be liable (to the extent permitted by law) for any losses, expenses, damages, including direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages, arising out of organizing or holding this competition or as a result of your participation in this competition or as a result of your winning, collecting, use or enjoyment of any prize, or if the competition does not run as planned, including claims based on publicity rights, defamations or invasion of privacy. This clause does not seek to exclude the liability of Aramex for (a) death or personal injury caused by its negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; and/or (c) any other matter for which it would be unlawful for them to exclude or attempt to exclude their liability.
  17. These terms and conditions and any disputes arising from these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Dubai International Financial Center (“DIFC”) and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the DIFC courts.
