Important Update by the Jordanian Customs Authority

According to the new regulation set by the Jordan Customs Authority, kindly note that, effective February 24th, 2021, the clearance regulations of personal shipments entering Jordan have been updated as follows:

• Shipments valued under 200 JODs will be subject to a custom fee of 10% of the shipment's value with a minimum amount of 5 JODs.
• Shipments valued between 200 and 1000 JODs shall be regulated by a statement of passengers' luggage. Fees and taxes as per applicable laws will be applied.
• Shipments with a value over 1000 JODs shall be regulated by customs declaration forms. Fees and taxes as per applicable laws will be applied.

Please note that any shipment valued below 200 JODs will be automatically cleared by Aramex in Jordan and charges will be processed accordingly.
