Packages destined to Turkey weighing more than 30 Kgs / or valued above EUR 1,500 requires full details

As per the new regulation issued by the Customs Authority in Turkey, please note that effective June 1st, 2016, any shipment destined to Turkey weighing more than 30 KGs or valued more than 1,500 Euro must include the below information in the waybill:

• The personal identification (ID) number of the consignee (for Turkish citizens) or the passport number (for non-Turkish citizens)
• National Tax number of the receiving company
• HS codes of the goods included in the shipment (the 6-digit HS Code must be added to the Invoice and attached to the waybill)
