How can I see a 3 word address as latitude,longitude coordinates?

On the website, click on the red banner at the bottom of the screen where the 3 word address is displayed, and click 'Share pin location'. You can then select 'GPS' which will show the coordinates for you to share or save.

On the app, you can change the format in which your 3 word address is shared by going to Menu > Settings and then selecting GPS coordinates (lat,long) or GPS coordinates (DD° MM' SS").

Why can’t I log in?

When you sign up, you should receive an email from what3words asking you to verify your email address. You will be able to log in after you follow the instructions in that email.

What are the shortest and longest words used?

In English, the words go from four letters to eighteen letters long – for example, "environmentalists" and "unenthusiastically". The minimum and maximum word length varies slightly from language to language.
Typically, longer words are used in more remote locations – such as the sea and deserts – and shorter words are used for 3 word addresses in cities and populated areas.
