What is data center logistics?

Data center logistics refers to the planning, transportation, storage, deployment and lifecycle management of critical infrastructure including power systems, cooling equipment, networking hardware, servers and spare parts.

Do Aramex handle the whole build, or just parts of it?

Either. We cover four flows: construction, compute, data-hall delivery and aftermarket. You can contract one or all four under one control tower and one SLA.

Can Aramex hold equipment until the site is ready?

Yes. We store equipment in secure warehousing or near-site laydown, open or covered, and release it in installation sequence. Bonded storage is available in selected locations.

Does Aramex provide Importer of Record and Exporter of Record services?

Yes. Aramex supports international deployments through Importer of Record (IOR) and Exporter of Record (EOR) solutions where required.

Can Aramex handle US export rules on controlled technology / GPU shipments?

Yes. Our trade compliance and customs teams handle pre-clearance and import/ export documentation for US-origin compute. We also handle re-export when units go back for repair, so your shipments meet export control conditions in both directions.

Does Aramex decommission equipment and destroy data?

Yes. We de-install, recover serial-verified assets, destroy data on-site or off-site with certificates, and handle compliant recycling.

How does Aramex support live operations?

Services include critical spare parts logistics, forward stocking, rapid deployment solutions and reverse logistics support designed to help maintain operational continuity.

How do you return a failed server for repair?

We collect it, re-package it for safe transport, and track it through the vendor's RMA process. An advance replacement can go in before the failed unit leaves.

How does Aramex help protect sensitive equipment?

Through controlled handling processes including shock, tilt, temperature and humidity monitoring, secure transportation and chain-of-custody controls.
