Chemicals and dangerous goods classifications

There are nine different classes of chemicals and dangerous goods. These include explosives and poisons, as well as aerosols, perfumes, cosmetics and products with lithium batteries.

Lithium batteries

The transport of lithium batteries has received increasing focus because of safety and risk issues.

Lithium batteries are commonly used in many electronic devices like mobile phones, tablets and other battery-operated and non-rechargeable handheld devices.
