Fuel Surcharge Sri Lanka
The fuel surcharge is adjusted twice a month based on changes in fuel prices.
Applicable to transportation charges under International Express services

The fuel surcharge for express services will be based on the daily average spot prices for US Gulf Coast (USGC) kerosene-type jet fuel, as reported by the U.S. Department of Energy.
The surcharge will be updated twice per month:
- 1st–15th of the month
- 16th–end of the month
Each update uses the most recent two weeks of daily average prices available at the time of calculation.
Example: Daily average fuel prices from 23 February 2026 to 6 March 2026 will determine the fuel surcharge for the second half of March 2026.
